At present we know money is scarce in our county, while at the same time in most parts of the county food stuff is in abundance. We are now coming to the Baptist churches and Sunday schools of the rural sections of the Beaverdam Association in behalf of our own Connie Maxwell Orphanage. We hope that sometime during the month of November every rural Baptist church and Sunday school in the Beaverdam Association will try to collect all the syrup, peas, corn. meal, wheat, flour or any kind of food stuff available, so that a shipment can be made by the last of November or the first of December. Please sack or crate all produce ready for shipping Thanking you in advance for any consideration you give this most important matter. Associational Orphanage Man.
