DEFICIENCY BILL Property Bid In At $100 Later Raised To $600 As Result Of Measure LAURENS, Apr. 6.-An interesting case under the deficiency judgment act, has just been handled through the office of the clerk of court of Laurens county. Salesday in March, Thomas W. Bennett, as clerk of court. sold for Leroy Moore, master of Spartanburg county, 147 acres of land in the case of Poole, receiver of the Bank of Enoree. against Bryson. The property was bid off at $100 by Mr. Poole as an individual purchase. Yesterday, the last day of "grace" under the law, Hundley -Hudgens Company, Inc., of Enoree, raised the bid to $500.
