BANK CLOSES DOORS. Darlington, S. C., Depository, One of Oldest in State, Suspends. DARLINGTON, S. C., April 8 (AP).The Bank of Darlington closed its doors yesterday after the directors, by resolution, decided to place the affairs of the institution in the hands of the State bank examiner for 30 days. The bank is capitalized at $100,000, one of the oldest in the State and was considered exceptionally strong. Impaired assets was given as the reason for closing.
