Articles report the bank as defunct and a court-appointed receiver was named in late Oct/early Nov 1895. There is no mention of a depositor run; the event is a receivership following failure. Assets (~$3,000) and liabilities (~$25,000โ€“30,000) are mentioned and the bank is tied to A. C. Probert of Washburn. OCR appears correct for names and dates.
