Brannon. Bond Fixed at $9,500.
After remaining in session for a portion of the time during more than two weeks the Quitman county grand jury returned three indictments against L. G. Brannon for alleged misconduct in connection with the affairs of the Farmers and Merchants bank of Georgetown, of which he was cashier. The bank was placed in the hands of Attorney Jas. W. Harris as receiver last year.
Judge Worrill fixed the total of his bonds at $9,500, which he made.
In connection with his management of the bank Mr. Brannon has been indicted by federal court grand juries in Savannah and Atlanta.
