ERN PLANTER AND FARMER.-Under a R decree of the Circuit Court of Henrico county, in the cause of Merchants and Planters Savings Bank vs. Dr. L. R. Dickinson (having been appointed receiver to do so), I will offer for sale at public auction, on FRIDAY the 14th day of May, at 12 o'clock M., at 1115 Main street, the SOUTHERN PLANTER AND FARMER," including its NAME, GOODWILL, SUBSCRIPTION-LIST, OFFICE FURNITURE, ALL ACCOUNTS DUE FOR ADVERTISING AND SUBSCRIPTIONS, amounting in the aggregate to some $5.000 or $6.000, a detailed statement of which can be seen at the auctioneers' or receiver's office. and will be exhibited on day of sale: BOUND VOLUMES, BACK NUMBERS. and all other property of the said 'PLANTER AND FARMER." This leading old Virginia agricultural journal, now in its forty-first year, OCC upies a position second to none in the South. Its subscription-list is very large, and extends over the entire South.
