Description

The Leinkauf Banking Company suspended operations March 20–21, 1911, naming an assignee (H. B. Pake). Articles cite inability to realize on rediscounts due to stagnation in the lumber and timber trade. A subsequent motion to appoint a receiver was denied (Mar 23) and the assignee was ordered to file bond. No reopening is reported; the bank appears to have closed and entered insolvency administration, so classified as suspension leading to closure.
