Receiver for the Golconda. The Basche Sage Hardware companyland the Sumpter Lumber company, sued the Golconda mine Friday to foreclose certain liens. They were represented by Attorney Charles H. Chance. Intervening in this suit, the Security Savings and Trust company of Portland filed a cross bill as answers and asked for the appointment of a receiver pending the litigation and the foreclosure of $90,000 of bonds issued by the Golconda company. Teal & Minor and A. B. Winfree and Judge Samuel White of Baker City represented the Security Savings and Trust company. Saturday Judge Wm. Smith in chambers appointed O. D. Glover as receiver.-Baker City Democrat.
