Bank Suspends; Cashier Arrested
Eugene, Feb. 12. The Junction City State bank suspended operations temporarily Thursday pending an examination by the state banking department. Shortly before this action cashier of the bank was arrested in Eugene by state police on charge of issuing check with insufficient funds. Eugene, Ore., March Mogensen, ex-cashier of the Junction City bank, faces six charges charge state banking funds following his arrest here last night. The largest sum involved in Mo$8500 which when given by and Mrs. for the chase before grand jury indicates warrants were never purchased.
Another charge involved the leged theft of $1555.77 the cashier for purchase bonds by Beck Mapleton. In another alleges Mogen$500 guaranty trust bond without her authority.
