Suit Warrants on May Close School To Pay Off Bank Warrenton schools in order to liquidate between $20,000 and $21,000 worth of warrants on the Warrenton school district held by the defunct First National bank Astoria may be the outcome of action brought Friday by W. C. Crawley, receiver for the bank. Crawley filed in circuit court tition for writ mandamus to compel Clara C. Munson, clerk of the school to apply all funds of district toward payment of these warrants and cease paying warrants later date until the bank's claims have been satisfied. If the court issues the order will that district will have funds being used operating schools toward payment of the warrants.
