The Astoria National Bank suspended business yesterday afternoon-for fifty-nine seconds. It was done in order to secure a good photograph of the room. equipment and staff of the concern. However good the picture may be. it will be incomplete because of the absence therefrom of the pleasant countenance of the genial eashier. J. E. Higgins, who is out of the city on @ brief vacation.
