The Question of Party Representa3. tion on the Senate Committees. e is WASHINGTON, March 11.-The subCommittee of the Republican Caucus f has not come to any conclusion on the n question of giving the Democrats increased representation on committees. It is generally believed that they will report in favor of acceding to the proposition. e In that event it is understood that Fenton will be named by the Democrats for the Finance Committee and Schurz for continuance on the Foreign Relations Committee. EXECUTIVE NOMINATIONS. The President has sent the following nominations to the Senate: Collectors of Internal Revenue; Wm. M. Nixon 3rd Dis. trict of Iowa; Mark Flanegan, 1st District of Michigan; H. B. Rowlson, 3d District of Michigan; 0.1. Dake; 6th District of Michigan; Jas. Fishback, 10th District of Illinois; John E. Blaine, 9th District of Kentucky; Jas. Lackey, Minnesota. Commissioner of Pensions, C. B. Tyler. Register Land Office: New Ulm, Minnesota. Receivers of Public Moneys: J.A. Chalflant, Independence, Missouri; 8. H. Wright, Carson City. New Pension Agents: J. Pension Agents: Samuel Post, Michigan, at Detroit; J. Foote, Jr., Michigan, at Grand Rapids; Daniel J. Boynton, Tennesee, at Knoxville; Jesse H. Moore, Illinois, at Springfield. Collectors of Internal Rev. enue: Crawley P. Dake, 5th District of Michigan; Mark Flannegan, 1st District of Michigan. The present Government Directors of the Union Pacific Railroad Company for one year from to-day, are: Hiram Price and James F. Wilson, Iowa; J. H. Hillard, Nebraska, and D.S. Ruddock, Connecticut. The Republican Senatorial caucus has agreed to add two more members to each of the Committees on Appropriations, Public Lands, Postoffice and Privileges and Elections. Each of these committees will have two opposition members, as will also each of the Committees on the Judiciary, Naval and Military Affairs. Sev. eral of the committees may have three opposition members. The Committee on Foreign Relations will have only one opposition member. The Republicans leave to the opposition the filling of reserved vacancies. RUN ON A SAVINGS BANK. NEW YORK, March 11.-A Washington dispatch states that a run was made on Washington City savings bank this morning. All demands were met promptly. At twelve o'clock the excitement subsided. The assets of the bank are over a million.
