COLLINSVILLE, OK., BANK TORN APART BY BIG EXPLOSION
Three Injured in Blast Believed Set Off by Enemies of Former Officials of Defunct Bank.
FEDERAL RECEIVER IS MOST SERIOUSLY HURT
Investigation Is Launched to Determine Cause and Perpetrators of Attack.
April mysterious explosion wrecked the defunct Collinsville National bank this afternoon, injuring three persons and damaging several other business buildings of the city. Is Badly Hurt.
John Byjes, federal bank receiver of Kansas City, Mo., who has been in charge of the institution since its failed two mnoths ago was badly bruised about the body and sustained several cuts on the head and shoulders. A Mr. Bredine also was injured and one of two girls working in the bank slightly bruised.
Investigation. An tigation was launched as soon as the excitement occasioned by the blast of dynamite had subsided. Officials were working on the theory that some enemy of former bank officlals was responsible.
