BANK FAILS Oil Notes Thought To Be Reason For Closing Doors BRISTOW, Okla.. Jan. 10.-The First State bank of Bristow failed to open for business today. A recent statement of the bank showed deposits of $800,000. Inability to realize on notes on account of the recent depression in the oil industry is assigned as the cause.
