# UNITED STATES CIRCUIT COURT. N. W. Casey, receiver, etc., vs. John W. Daniel et als.—Plaintiff, as receiver of the New Orleans National Bank, files a bill for $614 35, amount of a mortgage note. The following order, relating to the trial of cases, was yesterday announced by Judge Bill-inge: It is ordered that the hearing of causes in the United States courts for this district be distributed as follows, viz: The first week of the month of January, 1878, is to be exclusively devoted to the trial of government cases in both the District and Circuit courts. The second week to admiralty, law and bankrupt cases. The third week to government cases in either court. The fourth week to law and chancery cases in the Circuit Court, in which the government has no interest. Friday of each week to be exclusively devoted to the hearing of motions and rules in the District Court. Saturday to be exclusively rule-day in the Circuit Court. This rule will be followed in assigning cases for trial for each and every succeeding month, unless otherwise ordered by the court. N. B.—This rule will, however, not affect cases already fixed for trial.
