SIDNEY PLANTS RESUME WORK SIDNEY, March Citizen National bank and the First National Exchange bank both opened for business Wednesday morning on 100 per cent basis. The building and loan associations Wednesday morning ceived notice from the state building and loan department authorizing them to open for business. Officials of the company announced that the aluminum department resumed work today and the iron finishing department will open Friday. Reporting for work on Monday morning will be the full operating force of men women in all departments. Foremen and those comprising the key organization of the Monarch Machine and Tool Co. have been retained during the bank holidays, and as they resume their operations, men will be added from time to time. A large number of workers at the Los Ramos cigar factory have been recalled Employes of the American Steel Scraper Co., the Liberty Folder Machine Sidney Tool Co. and the Scraper Co. have fairly regularly throughout the winter.
