THROUGH AT BANK Former Governor Holcomb Relieved of His Duties as Receiver For The Wrecked Bank at Shelton. Bridgeport. March 16. - Former Governor Marcus Holcomb was discharged by Judge John W. Banks today from his duties as receiver for the Shelton Bank & Trust Co. The judge commended Mr. Holcomb on the efficient manner in which he handled the receivership. The bank paid 100 per cent to depositors and stockholders received $90 a shore. The outstanding claims against the bank total $1.111 and there is enough on hand to meet this. It was said Mr. Holcomb's bill for his expenses as receiver for two years was $100.
