An Old Bank Running Down. NORWICH, Conn, Dec. 28.-A meeting has been called of the stockholders of the old Norwich National bank, of this city, for Jan. 8, at which they are to decide whether they shall withdraw their stock and wind up the bank. The Norwich National bank, which is one of the oldest in the county, has been doing a conservative and successful business since 1796, but lately the investments have paid the stockholders dividends of only from 31/1 to 4 per cent.
