CALL ON STOCK FOR LIABILITY Receiver in Union Savings Bank Calls on Stock Holders Stockholders in the Union Savings bank have been assessed by banking department for their double liability, as provided by the banking the state, are notified that assessments must be paid by July 14 to avoid interest which will be charged after that date. A dividend of 50 per cent, besides the first division of five per cent has been paid by the bank, but in order to come near paying depositors in full as possible, it has been found necessary to assess the stockholders. in the bank are Olouise Barnes (deceased) 38 shares; R. Dewees Eaton 17; E. Gardner (deceased) 10; W. Long 10; Blanche Morrison 33; W. W. Morrison (deceased) 52; Niederaur 20: W. Radabaugh( deceased) 10; Chas. Wagner 20; Flora Wagner 30 and M. Wertz 240. Shares in the bank had par value of and of the 500 shares sued Mr. Wertz holds nearly onehalf. It is thought at the bank that the assessment will not bring in very large sum but that what can be paid will help toward paying the the bank still owes its depositors. This amount is in addition to due the village which secured.
