ASSIGNMENTS MADE IN THE SUPERIOR COURT. Short Calendar Session at New London Presided Over by Judge Shumway. There was a short calendar session of the superior court in New London Friday morning, with Judge Milton A. Shumway presiding. The following jury cases were assigned for trial: Tuesday, March 14-Murphy et al. vs. St. Mary's Roman Catholic Corp., Hickey VS. Miller. Wednesday, March 15-Donnelly vs. Pratt, Parker-Davenport Co. vs. Stevens. Thursday, March 16 - Weeks vs. Shore Line Electric Railway Co., Daniels, administratrix, VS. city of New London. Tuesday, March 21 - Bialstock vs. Kirman, Soslowsky vs. Kozlovski, town of Montville vs. city of New London. Wednesday, March 22-Dwyer, administrator, VS. Savings Bank of New London. These short salendar matters were disposed of: The cases of Brown CS. A. W. Brown Furniture Co., approval of sales of leases by receiver: Black vs. city of New London, default for failure to plead; Cowhey et al. vs. Mulcahey, appeal from probate, argument of demurrer to plea in abatement, and Lippitt et al., bank commissioners, vs. Thames Loan and Trust Co., order for payment of fourth dividend to savings deposittors, were continued. The cases of Beckwith vs. Plimmer, appointment of guardian ad litem, and Coulter vs. Kinney, argument of demurrer and motion to expunge, went to off the list. An order was passed in the case of Fenton et al. vs. Fenton Building Co., correcting the amount allowed to Casper K. Bailey on his common claim and amounts allowed and disallowed to the Berlin Construction Co., on its common claims, and the account of the S receiver for January, 1916, was filed and approved. An argument of motion to expunge and demurrer to counter claim was V heard in the case of Bass vs. Symingt ton et al., and the judge took the papers.
