SHIPLOAD OF GOLD TO STEM RUN ON BANK HAVANA, April Cuban cruiser Cuba arrived here today with $43,000,000 on board with which to meet renewal of the run of small depositors on the Royal Bank of Canada and the National City bank of New York, which started T. Alaiza, young accountant, is said to have confessed to absconding with $48,000 the bank money, and to have said he will not resistextradition from Denver. PUT OUT ROOF FIRE The fire department was called to the home of Rex Kelly, 353 Miller street, at o'clock this morning, where roof fire had been started from chimney spark. The fire was extinguished with chemicals. FIRE THREATENS HOME The fire department was called to 410 Division street at 11:30 o'clock Saturday night. A fire, which had originated around the stove on the first floor of the frame house, was extinguished with the aid of a large chemical.
