Description

Newspaper notices from May–June 1922 repeatedly identify the United States National Bank of Vale, Oregon as having a court-appointed receiver (R. A. Holte; J. J. Brenholt). The articles are summonses related to claims against the bank/its debtors and identify the bank as 'Receiver' defendant. No articles mention a depositor run; instead the bank is in receivership (i.e., closed) and subject to court actions, so this matches a suspension followed by permanent closure/receivership. Dates taken from the publication dates (May–June 1922) where receivers are named.
