A. L. Price, traveling live stock agent of the Missouri Pacific, was in the city today! on business for his road. Dr. Gully spent yesterday at Perry. C. D. Shane is a Winfield guest at the Elks. Thos. Bell is an Edmond visitor in the city. C. O. Faulkner is here from Topeka. C. E. Preston of Karema, is & visitor in the city. Postmaster Marsh Lambert of New kirk, is conferring with the local politicians today. C. W. Barnes of Cereal, is in the city. C. E. Stout is here from Wichita. He has recently married and grown stouter. Geo. McQuaid will soon issue some wedding invitations, Tis said. Dale & Bierer will file 600 Ft. Smith and Western suits Monday. Stuart Briggs, assistant cashier of the Capitol National bank, left this morning for Alva to assist Receiver Sturtevant in checking up the books and accounts of the Alva National bank, The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs James Cottingham, who has been very ill with pneumonia, is greatly improved. Mrs. C. H. Roberts of Edmond, and her mother, Mrs. Harshbarger, are in the city the guests of Mrs. E. O Barker. Examiner Mountjoy of the department of justice, is here from Washing ton, making the rounds of the United States offices. Judge Pancoast leit this morning for Alva after the session of the su preme court. Judge Gillette returned to his home in Anadarko this morning. Associate Justice Hainer left for Perry this morning. Associate Justice Burwell left this morning for his home in Oklahoma City. Associate Justice Irwin, accompanied by T. F. Milliken, court stenographer, left this morning for his home in El Reno. Judge Irwin drove overland with his fine team. E. L. Donahue of Ponca City, was a guest at the Royal today. J. E. Wright of Davenport, Okla., is in the city. B. J. Clardy of Shawnee, was here today. C. W. Cook, traveling freight agent of the Santa Fe, with headquarters in Topeka, was in the city over night. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Pierce of Oklahoma City, are guests of friends in the city. J. S. Moffit of Pawnee, is in the city. Attorney John De Mars, solicitor for the Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma railroad, spent last evening in the city. Dr. John W. Werner of Newkirk, is in the city. Dr. E. H. Cooke of Watonga, was here today. Mrs. Morris Gilbert of Stillwater, was in the city today. J. D. Morrison of Frankfort, Ind., is a visitor in the city. Dr. B. F. Hamilton, president of the territorial board of health, was in the city from Shawnee today. Percy C. Simmons, who was recently appointed attorney general, succeeding J. C. Robberts, resigned, is in the city today from Pond Creek, accompanied by his wife and child. Will F. Plummer is at Hobart, where he is superintending the construction of the sewer system now being installed in that city. Chas. M.
