$55,000,000 R. F. C. LOANS BARED OVER WHITE HOUSE PROTEST South Trimble (A), clerk of House, gives newspapermen list of R.F.C. loans made between July 1 and Aug. 1. (By United Press) Washington, D. C., Aug. 22. -The Reconstruction Finance Corporation loaned or allotted $55,000,000 to 437 authorized borrowers in the last ten days of July, its report revealed today. In making public the first corporation report, pursuant to terms of the Unemployment Relief bill, South Trimble, clerk of the House, revealed that à representative of President Hoo r telephoned him last week protesting publication. The corporation reported that, from July 21 to July 31, it had authorized 437 loans aggregating $45,057,556.10 and loan increases aggregating $1,653,500. The aggregate of $46,711,056.10 of loans and loan increases was authorized as follows: Banks and trust companies, $3,990,180.23; agricultural credit corporations, $104,309.58; building and loan associations, $3,088,650; insurance companies, $2,247,500; joint stock land banks, $90,000; livestock it corporations, $580,716.29; mortgage loan companies, $747,000, and railroads, $6,862,700.
