# PETITIONS IN BANKRUPTCY. The following petitions in bankruptcy were filed yesterday with the clerk of the United States District Court: THOMAS J. DUFFY, No. 356 West Forty-third-st. Liabilities, $4,040; assets, $3,010. Principal creditor, Frank Caggili, of Houston, Tex., who recovered a judgment against the petitioner for $1,000 for personal damages. Duffy has an interest in cabs to the amount of $900, and schedules a fire insurance policy of $2,000 as assets. J. BOROWSKY, Tarrytown. Liabilities, $3,618; assets, $1,000. Principal creditor, B. Bernstein, No. 676 Broadway, $398. Petitioner has stock valued at $1,000 and accounts for $300. STEPHEN H. SHARPSTEEN, No. 115 West One-hundred-and-sixth-st. Liabilities, $2,473; assets, $1,000. Principal creditor, receiver of the Merchants' National Bank of Binghamton, N. Y., $1,986. Principal asset, insurance valued at $300, remainder being exempted. SIGMUND and SOLOMON SEELIG, trading as Seelig Brothers, at No. 27 St. Mark's Place. Liabilities, $1,128; assets, $50. Principal creditor, Charles M. Stevens, Philadelphia, $261. Creditors all residents of Philadelphia.
