Reports calculated to injure the owners of said property have from time to time been circulated, such as offensive smell," and a great nuisance" said to proceed and have their origin on the above named premises. An examination of the place by those who have been induced to credit such reports, is earnestly requested. New York He abandoned her on the 29th of same month. and got married to a CATH. ARINE COYLE on the night previous to leaving her. taking with him 8 considerable sum of Money and value, her property. His brother. George Moore. Agent to the Foreign Bible Society, New. York. has published him some time past as insuge to screen his villainous conduct. but be is not insane To add more to his other villainies, he sued four Railroad Companies in New York for a truck belonging to his sister which was never lost. From three of them he extracted considerable money but the fourth, the Hadson River Railroad Company defeated him; he being detected in the fraud. $ warrant was issued for his arrest consequently he had to fly from New York, and has never been seen in it since. Of the decreased Imports $29,471,184 have been in Dry Goods. The amount of gold sent to Boston to-day for the steamer is $573,000, of which Mr. Belmont sends $473,000 and Messrs. Dennistoun, Wood & Co. $100,000. The gold is nearly all in bars. In the case of the United States Trust Co. Receiver against the Knickerbocker Savings Bank, ex-Judge Kent, referee, decided that the Knickerbocker Bank is indebted to the Savings Bank $120,000, and motion is made to confirm the report, which is opposed. Decision reserved. Owners of Certificates issued by the Receivers of the People's Bank of Paterson, may obtain their dividends at the office of the Receivers, in Paterson, at any time prior to the 16th day of July, 1855, after which the books will be brought to Newark where they will remain. The Ohio and Mississippi Railroad opens from St. Louis to Vincentes on the 3d, and the people of Vincennes are to have a grand celebration on that day. Passengers are expected to leave St. Louis at 6 A. M. and be in Cincinnati at 9 P. M. A progress of about 8 feet per day at each end is now being made on the Hoosick tunnel. A larger force of 500 hands has been advertised for. The rock so far proves favorable, being mica slate, and is easily excavated.
