NEW FLORENCE BANK DECLARES DIVIDEND AVAILABLE JAN. FIRST The New Florence National Bank has declared a twenty percent dividend on certificates of participation which will be available to depositors of the bank on January 1, 1936, through the medium of the new bank, New Florence National Bank. When the new bank was opened, eighty-five per cent of the deposits were available immediately, fifteen percent having been turned over to the trustees for liquidation. On March 1, 1935, a thirty percent dividend was paid and with the twenty percent available January 1, fifty per cent will have been paid out on the fifteen percent withheld on opening of the new bank. Trustees have announced that no checks will be mailed out but depositors must appear in person at the new bank and present certificates of participation. The trustees are John G. Galbreath, chairman; J. A. Horrell, treasurer; and Ernest Mack, secretary.
