# Death of Mrs. G. A. Robertson. The death of Mrs. Cora A. Wellman, wife of George A. Robertson, occurred at 2 o'clock Thursday morning. Mrs. Robertson had been in ill health for about a year, but her final illness from fibrous consumption, confining her to her bed, developed only two weeks ago. Her age was 47 years. Mrs. Robertson was the only daughter of the late George Wellman. Besides attendance at the Hinsdale schools, she was educated at Glenwood Seminary in West Brattleboro, and studied afterwards at Newbury, Vt., Seminary, where she graduated. She assisted her father in the work of the treasurership of the Hinsdale Savings bank for two or three years before his death, which took place in 1892. At her father's death she was appointed treasurer, and held the office until the bank went into insolvency. She was then appointed receiver, and wound up its affairs. Her marriage to Mr. Robertson took place in September, 1901. Mrs. Robertson had long been a member of the Congregational church and was active in the work of that church and in the temperance cause. She was a woman of great strength of character, commanding the respect of all who knew her. She is survived by her husband and by two brothers, J. P. Wellman, postmaster at Keene, N. H., and H. P. Wellman, clothing merchant in Brattleboro. The funeral will be held at the house Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock.
