The Continental Construction company builders of a natural gas pipe line between Beatrice and Chicago, via the Missouri river at Plattsmouth, plan to have a private telephone line paralleling the line. The Burlington railroad has the contract to build the line. The pipe line closely parellels the Burlington line between Plattsmouth and Chicago. The private phone would enable watchmen and engineers to report gas pressure or leaks without delay.
