John, Carl and Keene Reed returned Friday evening from Chicago, 111nois, where they had been to place some cattle on the market. Miss Luella Danielson, who is at tending school at Wayne, Nebraska, spent last week-end visiting at her home in Wausa, returning to the Co.lege on Sunday. Byron and Vinton Johnson, of West Point, Nebraska, stopped at Wausa on Sunday of this week, on their return home from a trip to Bloomfield, Nebraska. They returned to West Point on Monday. Olson motored to Norfolk on Wednesday of this week where he visited Mr. Edward Erickson of Wausa, a patient at the Lutheran hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Seagren, entertained Miss Evelyn Swanson, and Mr. honrock, of Omaha, Nebraska, at dinner at their home on Saturday evening of last week. N. C. Carlson made a drive to Wayne Sunday afternoon, bringing back to school some of the students who had spent the week end here with their parents. Miss Evelyn Swanson, of Omaha, Nebraska, who came to Wausa to spend a few days visiting with relatives and friends, spent Saturday of last week, at the home of her sister, .rs. Ted Johnson, of near Creighton. Measrs P H. Peterson Keith Petersen and Elton Thoms were Linco:n visitors on Monday of this week. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lingren entertained the Rudelph Scholte family, George Reiners fami y, Moritz Dietz family and Mr. Roy Oak at a six o'c ock supper Tuesday evening. evening was spent in playing rook and visiting. A ellaneous shower was held at the Carl Rathjen home Monday afternoon, in honor of the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Ival Lindquist. About fifty friends and relatives were pres ent. The afternoon was spent in visiting and looking over all the pretty gifts that had been given the newlyweds. At a late hour a tasty lunch was served, after which the guests departed wishing Mr. and Mrs. Lindquist a very happy married life.
