BANKERS VIEW ORIGINAL ACCOUNT OF WAHOO BANK When the First National Bank of Wahoo its fiftieth anniversary last Friday, John Changstrom, vice president of the Omaha National bank, Omaha, brought with him the original ledger of the Omaha National bank, Omaha, showing the first account opened by the Wahoo bank on July 20, 1882. The pic- ture shows Mr. Changstrom pointing to the original entry on page 1436 of the book. Others in the picture are E. E. Placek, president of the Wahoo bank; L. J. Kudrna, vice president; Ernest Hanson, cashier; and C. L. Owen, assistant cashier of the Stock Yards National bank of Omaha. The bank suspended business at m. Friday and public in the lobby of the bank, where refreshments were served and telegrams of congratulation read. The board of the bank includes: E. E. Placek, E. EL Good, L. J. Kudrna, Ed Lemkuhl, Ernest Paul Good, H. Reader, E. S. Schiefelbein and Dr. R. F. McCreery.
