PILGER STATE BANK CLOSES ITS DOORS The Pilger State Bank was taken over by the State Banking Department Thursday morning. The bank had been operating on a restricted basis since the bank holiday last spring and had paid out 20% on old deposits during that time. The new deposits taken in since then are being out now in the form of drafts. Depositors are asked to call for their statements and their draft for their new deposit. -Stanton County News.
