Luikart Appointed Otoe Bank Receiver E. H. Luikart, secretary of trade and commerce, was appointed receiver for the Bank of Otoe, Neb., Wednesday morning by Judge James T. Begley in district court. It. was ordered by the court that the assets of the bank shall be placed in the hands of the receiver uponal providing bond fixed in the sum of $15,000. In reeciver was authorized and ordered to take possession of all books, records and assests of every kind and description belonging to the bank and he was empowered to proceed to colect all debts due and owing the bank as speedily as possibly. The court further ordered the receiver to file such suits as necessary to recover upon the indebtedness due the bank, subject to the approval of the court. The Bank of Otoe was closed in October.
