Notes of the Courts. The Megeath cases having been consolidated are continued over to the February term. The damage suits of Andrew Gibson and Homer White against the street railway company have been compromised, the former for $800 and the latter for $100. A demurrer from the city in the suit of Henry Coombs to test the garbage contract with Alexander MacDonald was argued before Judge Fawcett yesterday afternoon and taken under advisement. Judge Scott had the International Dining hall case before him on final argument yesterday afternoon. He intimated that he would set aside the bills of sale, but his decision was postponed until Monday. Receiver Charles E. Sumner having made his final report of the finances of the Omaha Loan and Trust company, he is discharged and the balance is ordered to be applied

Notes from the Dockets. The suit of A. H. Hill & Sons against the George Adams & Burke company has been removed to the federal court. Judge Fawcett has decided the old brick controversy between Francis D. Cooper and Henry Livesey in favor of Livesey. In the case of the Omaha Loan and Trust company against Ida Cremer, Receiver Charles E. Sumner has made his final report. It shows collections amounting to $4,989.50, disbursements $4,199.37, balance on hand, $790.13. The will of the late Charles Offutt has been filed with the clerk of the county court. The widow, Bertha Y. Offutt, is made the executrix. Mr. Offutt left an estate valued at about $7,000, of which $5,000 is personal property. Attachment proceedings were taken against
