BLISS APPEALS SEWARD COUNTY JUDGE'S ACTION Appeal was filed in the Supreme Thursday from Seward county District court decision sustaining the demurrer of defendants an action brought Clarence G. as the Nebraska State bank of Milford. The action was against Harry Laipply treasurer School District No. and the village of Milford and against units sought recover in possession of the defendant as guaranty for school and village monies, on the ground that notes really property of the bank. The receiver is appealing.

BLISS APPEALS FROM SEWARD DISTRICT COURT Appeal was filed in the Supreme court Thursday from a Seward County District court decision sustaining the demurrer of defendants in an action brought by Clarence G. Bliss as receiver for the Nebraska State Bank of Milford. The action was brought against Harry E. Laipply as treasurer of School District No. 5, and the village of Milford and against the two governmental units themselves. It sought to recover notes in possession of the defendant as a guaranty for school and village monies, on the ground that the notes were really property of the bank. The receiver is appealing.

Feb. 9, neys for Laipply, treasurer of the Milford school district and president of the defunct Nebraska State bank of Milford, filed supreme court Tuesday. A brief suporting dismissal of suit brought by state bank receivers enjoin of notes given to secure the districts' deposit The stae had appealed dismissal of the suit.
