"SCHOOL DAYS" WENT OVER WELL The play "School Days" which Las been under preparation here for the past couple of weeks, was given at the High School Auditor ium on Tuesday night of this week. This play is a Ruth Buttrey Co., of Havre. Mont.. production and was directed by Miss Ruth Gillner. The east was made up of seventy two local characters and they did credit to themselves. On account of the great number in the play It is impossible for us to go into detail as to each character. In spite of the inclemency of the weather a fairly good house greeted the play ers and the event was a financial success, as well as pleasing to those who saw it. The play was given under the auspices of the Congregational S. O. S. ANNOUNCENMENT The First State Bank of Bertrand. having been reorganized is pleased to announce to the public that It - will be reopened for business, Friday October 11th. 1929. All slow and doubtful assets have been removed and the bank is in an excellent condition. $30,000 of New Capital (Stock and Surplus has been paid in.
