Description

Multiple contemporaneous newspaper notices (May 1932) report the reorganized Farmers' and Merchants Bank of Benson has reopened under the name Douglas County Bank of Omaha following approval by the state banking department. The articles announce a reopening and reorganization; they do not describe a run. I therefore classify this as a suspension (or failure/reorganization) followed by reopening. The original suspension/closing date is not given in the clippings.
