CLOSED BUSINESS. The Bank of DeBeque is no more, that institution having consolidated with the Mesa county bank of this city and closed its doors for business last Saturday evening. Rex Graham, who has had charge of the institution and so successfully managed its affairs was transferred faom there to his old position in the Mesa county bank. The bank of DeBeque was established during the first period of the oil excitement in that town and has been run ever since. The bank had a very flattering line of deposits, considering the size of the town and it was with reluctance that Mr. Orson Adams, the owner of the bank, decided that there was insufficient business to maintain the bank as a separate institution. The merchants of DeBeque and the farmers and cattle men of that section liberally patronized the bank and had the boom continued. which started with the oil excitement, the bank would doubtless have grown proportionately. Speaking with a DeBequeite today, he said: "We are sorry to lose the little financial institution but of course the business that could be commanded by the institution was entirely too small
