# WHICH ONE REALLY # OWNS THE LOTS Peter Ehr, Mrs. Mary Jane Nash and Brogan & Flummerfelt each Claim the Ownership to Valuable lots in This City-Case Being tried before Palda One of the most interesting cases ever tried in this city came up before Judge Palda in District court Tuesday. Some years ago Strain Bros., then merchants in Minot bought from the Bank of Minot some lots which they later sold to Mrs. Nash. The property she still claims, is occupied by the Optic and S. R. Kallak. The lots have advanced in price untill now the are worth not less than $8000.00. Peter Ehr also lays claim to the lots, by reason of his getting a title through Brynjolfson, by a transfer from A. B. Gubtill, receiver of the Bank of Minot. Brogan & Flummerfelt were the original owners of the lots. They mortgaged them to the Bank of Minot and the bank foreclosed. They claim that they have a right to redeem those lots. Mary Jane Nash is now suing the Northwestern Land Co., for title to the lots. Attorneys Aurland and Greene represent Mrs. Nash. LeSueur & Bradford represent Peter Ehr and P. J. Mc-Clory of Devils Lake has been retained for Brogan & Flummerfelt. The lawyers all fought hard for points Tuesday and this was one of the few cases where real law has entered into it. The result will be watched with interest.
