LARGE AMOUNT PAID BY BANK RECEIVERS With the total of dividends paid during the first three months of 1927 exceeding $175,000, C. W. Conroy, manager of the Devils Lake division of the closed bank receiverships of North Dakota, estimates that the sum will be boosted within several weeks to more than $273,000. These dividends have been paid on closed banks which come under the jurisdiction of the local office, which includes 16 counties. Two banks have been favored during the past 10 days as the first 10 per cent dividends went out last Friday on the Bank of Park River at Park River, while the State Bank of McVille was reopened March 22. The Bank of Park River which was placed on the dividend list last week was closed in 1924. It is rated as $400,000 institution. The total dividends paid so far during 1927 have been paid on 14 banks, Mr. Conroy points out. Dividends paid by banks in this area range from 10 to 20 per cent, according to figures of Mr. Conroy. The 14 banks together with the dividends paid thus far, are as follows, exclusive of the institutions which have been reopened.
