The articles consistently identify L. R. Baird as Receiver of Peoples State Bank, Linton, N.D., and show legal actions (summons dated Dec 22, 1930) and later sheriff's sale (1932) to satisfy judgments. There is no description of a depositor run in the provided clippings. The presence of a receiver indicates the bank suspended/closed and entered receivership (permanent closure). Dates are taken from the summons (Dec 22, 1930) and later sheriff's sale notice (Sept 9, 1932) / judgment docketed Sept 28, 1931.
