The postoffice inspector checked the office up and found a shortage of $365 belonging to the money order fund. Mr. Tucker was cashier of the Turtle Mountain bank, and sent a draft to the Flour City National bank at Minneapolis, for $365. The Turtle Mountain bank went into the hands of a receiver about this time, and the draft was not honored. The defendant claims that that is the reason of any shortage occuring.
