Dickey county collected in taxes for the current year $105,000, and expended for county administration $23,000. Judge Amidon, of the United States court, has appointed H. L. Whited as referee in insolvency proceedings under the national bankruptcy law. Supt. Cracker, of Ransom county, addressed :De teachers of the summer school at Ellendale on the Spanish war. Work on the new Towner county court house at Cando has begun, and the building is to be completed in ninety days.
