Newspapers (Jan 16–19, 1928) report rumors caused heavy runs Friday and Saturday preceding a state banking commission takeover Monday. I infer the takeover date as 1928-01-16 (publication dates Jan 16–17) and classify this as a run that led to suspension/takeover (permanent closure by state control).
