NORTH CAROLINA BANKS.-The Bank of the State of North Carolina suspended on Wednesday last, and all its Branches, in pursuance of orders, have followed the example. The Bank of Washington suspended on Saturday last. The Bank of Fayetteville still pays specie, and we have not heard of the Suspension of the Wadesborough and Yanceville Banks. P. S.-The Milton Chronicle says that the Bank of Yanceville has suspended "after standing up gallantly against the run of brokers and domestic alarmists. The Bank suspended, not because of any inability to cash its notes, but because its friends deemed it wise under existing circumstances to close doors against the run of brokers."-Fayetteville Observer.
