The bank failed to reopen after efforts to refinance collapsed (Feb 1922). A receiver was appointed (Feb 1922) and the bank remained in liquidation through asset sale notices in 1926 and final dividend distribution. No newspaper account describes a depositor run; cause appears to be failed recapitalization/insolvency (classified as 'other').
