Car., Dec. 16 (AP) Eight North Carolina banks. four in the western part of the state and four in Gaston county either failed to open or closed their doors today. Mrs. Nancy McGill Is Laid To Rest (By Herald Correspondent) Sharon, Dec. 16.-Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy McGill were conducted in Sharon A. R. P. Church Saturday by her pastor, Rev. E. B. Hunter. assisted by Rev. R. M. Bell, of Hickory Grove, and Rev. O. W. Carmical, of Neely's Creek.
