BLACKFOOT RANCHERS FOR LAND NEAR POTOMAC J. A. Swanson and M. D. Flynn Rivals in Court Today. Spirited bidding took place in the court of Judge Lentz this morning between M. D. Flynn and J. A. Swanson, Blackfoot ranchers, for the purchase of what is known as the Flynn property near Potomac. It is now held by George K. Dick, receiver for the American bank, A S. Ainsworth, receiver for the Thompson State bank of Thompson Falls, and the Farmers' & Merchants' bank of Dixon, and by Joseph Haugen of Missoula. Mr. Flynn's opening bid was $22,300 which Mr. Swanson raised to $22,500. At this point the court took the bids under advisement until Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Petition to seli the property had previously been given to the receivers and Mr. Haugen.
