BOB REA FOUND DEAD AT HOME OF HIS SISTER Former Employe of Local Bank Dies at Rosedale After Shot. PISTOL FOUND NEAR REMAINS IN GARAGE Mrs. Nannie Nunnery, Sister, Investigates and Finds Her Brother. ROSEDALE, Miss., Jan. Attracted by pistol shot, relatives found R. W. Rea. cashier of the closed Bolivar county Bank, unconscious in a rear yard of his dwelling here today with a bullet wound in his temple. He died an hour later. The Bolivar County Bank closed December 20th. Rea was unmarried and made his home here with sister. He had been eashier of the bank since 1922. The receiver named for the bank said today that so far as he could ascertain Rea's accounts were in first-class shapë, believed stant because of the closing of the institution had affected his mind. Clarkadale and Coahoma county friends of Robert W. Rea, 43, of Rosedale, were shocked learn early today of his death at the King's Daughters, Hospital Rosedale, about 7 a.m., from a pistol wound in his head. Mr. Rea, former employee at local bank, was found in the garage of his sister's home in pool blood, with pistol on the ground near him. Mrs. Nannie Nunnery, his sister, found him following the sound of the pistol shot, He was rushed to the hospital where he died few minutes later. He made statement, it was reported here. No inquest was held. Mr. Rea had been affiliated with the Bolivar County Bank, at Rosedale, for the past nine years. He was cashier of that institution.
