RECEIVER MAY SELL BONDS CLARKSDALE, Feb. der signed by Judge Edwin Holmes of Yazoo City, federal tudge for southernd ivision of Mississippi, was placed on the minutes the delta division of United States district court yesterday, Rawlings, the Natitonal Bank pay the Union Planters bonds chased that institution before the Planters' Bank closed on December 30 as repurchase agreement. The receiver was authorized the bonds the First SecuriBank of Memphis at $213,500.

Bank Receiver Sues Bilbo on Note For $500 Press.) BILOXI, Miss., Sept. 18 F. Rawlings, receiver of the Planters Bank of Clarksdale, has filed suit in federal court here Gov. Theo Bilbo and Linda A. Bilbo for $500 on their note to the bank dated Sept. 26, 1926, for one year. drawing per cent interest, with attorney's fees provided in the note. It is alleged that no part of the note has been paid. The case is returnable, Feb. 15. WOMAN KILLED BY RAM. Press.) Sept. 18.Mrs. Mallie Jones, 84, was injured fatally today when a large ram at tacked her on farm near here. She was knocked down and her leg broken in three places. She lalso suffered about the h and face, dying 30 minutes later.
